ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A Ballwin man died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 in St. Charles County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the crash happened just after 12 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-64 at mile marker 12.4.
The highway patrol said Ali Nazemi-Tabrizi was driving a 2009 Kia Sorento when his vehicle started to veer off the roadway. Nazemi-Tabrizi pulled his car back onto the roadway but then overcorrected, sending the Sorento off the right side of the roadway.

The Sorento struck a utility box and then a tree. Nazemi-Tabrizi was pronounced dead just before 1 p.m. at Mercy Hospital St. Loui. He was 68.
The highway patrol’s report indicates Nazemi-Tabrizi was not wearing a seat belt.
