BOONVILLE, Mo. – Warm Springs Ranch recently welcomed a new baby clydesdale to its herd.

The yet-to-be-named colt will grow up on the ranch alongside 70 clydesdales of varying ages.

The ranch serves as a breeding farm for the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, with barns for mares, stallions, and foals, as well as a veterinary lab and 10 pastures.

Clydesdale foals are typically three feet tall and weigh approximately 150 pounds at birth. The foals can walk within hours of being born. Adults stand six feet tall (18 hands) at their withers and weigh 2,000 pounds.

Warm Springs Ranch sits on 300 acres of rolling hills in Boonville, near the Missouri River in the heart of the state.

The ranch is hosting a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday, Feb. 11. Guests will be able to watch the game on one of the four large televisions in the barn, take photos of the Clydesdales, and meet the new foals. Tickets for the watch party are $100 and include appetizers, dinner, and two 16-ounce beers.
