ST. LOUIS – Senior citizens in St. Louis City can now apply to freeze their property taxes starting Monday.

A spokesperson for Mayor Tishaura Jones says the tax credit is designed to provide financial relief to seniors amid rising property taxes.

Qualified seniors must apply for the tax credit each year before the June 30 deadline.
