Ancient Order of Hibernians honor first responders with ‘Handcuffs and Hard Hats Award’ ceremony

ST. LOUIS – The Ancient Order of Hibernians will honor several St. Louis first responders and civic leaders on Thursday.

It’s for the 22nd annual ‘Judge James Dailey Wahl Hoses, Handcuffs and Hard Hats Award’ ceremony. They’ll also honor first responders and union members killed in the line of duty on 9/11.


Manhunt over in St. Francois County, suspect in custody

There will also be a fundraiser for three local charities: The BackStoppers, $5 for the fight, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It’s $25 per person, but you can donate more. The event is at 6 p.m. at the IBEW Local One in Clifton Heights.
