MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Legendary actor Billy Dee Williams is in St. Louis on Tuesday.
It’s part of the St. Louis County Library’s 2024 black history celebration. Williams will be at Chaminade to discuss his memoir, ‘What Have We Here?: Portraits of A Life.’ It goes over his long acting career, from his breakout role in Brian’s song to becoming a pop culture icon as Lando Calsrissian in the Star Wars franchise.
He’ll also talk about overcoming racism and typecasting in the movie industry.
