In 1979, Iranians took over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days. On this day in 1981, the standoff ended with the hostages released, but that wasn’t the end of the story – or the suffering – for the victims and their families. Barry Petersen has more.
