Mizzou athletics receives record $62M donation

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri’s athletic department says it received a record-breaking $62 million donation.

The anonymous donation is more than double the previous largest contribution in 2012, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. $50 million will go to Mizzou’s planned renovation of Memorial Stadium’s north concourse.


‘Affordability crisis’ in St. Louis County as home values soar

The remaining $12 million will go to the school’s ‘Tiger Fund,’ which benefits student athletes.
