ST. LOUIS – On a day where there were no teams taking the ice or the field in St. Louis, it was still just as busy.

The Cardinals loaded up trucks for spring training in Florida early Monday morning, and around an hour later, the Battlehawks made the announcement of their schedule lineup.

“We’re all hyped for year two and the UFL,” Darrius Shepherd, Battlehawks wide receiver, said.

Shepherd helped reveal the UFL schedule at FOX 2.

“We’re hoping to fill the dome this year and get it as packed out as possible,” Shepherd said. “We’re looking forward to seeing Battlehawk nation out there.”

The team kicks off the season on March 30 against the Michigan Panthers, only on FOX.

City SC is also preparing for its second season.

“Our first match sold out in like 10 minutes,” Edmound Elzy, vice president of City SC, said.

Season ticket holders get first pick on Tuesday at 10 a.m., then myCity+ members at noon.

General ticket sales begin Friday for the 17 home MLS games.

MLS begins their season in 15 days, and the Battlehawks follow just two weeks later.

“We want the Battlehawks to be good, we want the Cardinals to be good, so it’s exciting. I love seeing all that stuff going on,” Elzy said.
