Three people may be injured in a south St. Louis County shooting

OAKVILLE, Mo. — St. Louis County Police were called to the 5600 block of Chalet Hill Drive to investigate a shooting at around 1:15 p.m. Police believe there are three victims and have not released their conditions.

The shooting investigation delayed dismissal at Oakville High School. The school was in lockdown until the situation in the neighborhood was over. The school is now under supervised dismissal.


Vacant warehouse near downtown to be demolished after massive fire

School administrators tell parents in an email that students and staff are safe. Classes are meeting as scheduled.

Officers have blocked off portions of the neighborhood while they investigate the shooting. They are asking anyone with information to call 911 or 636-529-8210.

Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX Helicopter is headed to the area in the air. A FOX 2 news crew will be gathering information from the scene.
