ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 70 near Wentzville.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-70 just past Route A.
Traffic is backed up several miles as crews worked to clear the scene. Some drivers are being diverted near Route A.
MSHP hasn’t disclosed many details about the crash or what led up to it.
There could be traffic backups for a few hours as crews investigate. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
