ST. LOUIS – A plan to allow families to send their children to public schools in districts where they don’t live passed the Missouri House on a narrow vote.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, under the bill, school districts would have to opt-in for open enrollment by December 1 of the prior year. Districts that opt-in would not be required to add staff or resources.
