ST. LOUIS – Missouri State Representative Gretchen Bangert says she plans to run for St. Louis County Council after her term ends.
According to FOX 2’s partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Democrat from Florida would replace Councilwoman Kelli Dunway, who isn’t running for re-election in District 2.
Bangert says if she’s elected, she’ll focus on public safety, addressing radioactive waste, and workforce development. Nicole Greer, a councilwoman in Creve Coeur, is also running for Dunaway’s seat.
