ST. LOUIS – Mizzou’s athletics department set a revenue record during the 2023 fiscal year but stayed in the black by just one dollar.
FOX 2’s partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Mizzou Athletics brought in a record $141,558,287 throughout fiscal year 2023 but spent just one dollar less. Financial data submitted to the NCAA shows Mizzou’s athletic revenue increased by 0.3% last year.
This 2023 fiscal year covers the Tiger’s 2022 football season, when the team went 6-7. It does not account for the 2023 football season, which drew five consecutive sellouts and a New Year’s Six Bowl win.
