Man arrested after threatening to shoot-up child care center

JENNINGS, Mo. — A man is under arrest after threatening to “shoot-up” the Head Start Urban League building on Jennings Station Road. Jarvon Conner, 21, is charged with making a terrorist threat and harassment. He is being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.


New clues about what happened before mother’s forest death

Court documents state that Conner called the child care center on Friday, January 5, and threatened to kill his girlfriend and shoot up the building. She works at the Urban League and told police that Conner was “going crazy.” The center closed early because of the threats.

The police contacted Conner. He admitted to making the threatening calls to his girlfriend and two other employees.
