The suspects, including Moore, demanded the victim hand over his belongings, including his debit card and phone. Reportedly, after the robbery, the victim’s debit card had been used at an ATM at a BP gas station.

Police said surveillance video showed Moore using the card and driving the vehicle stolen from the victim.

According to court documents, various SLMPD officers identified Moore from the surveillance video due to his involvement in numerous other crimes throughout the St. Louis Metro area. Moore was also placed in a photo line-up, and the victim identified him as one of the perpetrators.

Police said Moore is additionally wanted in Illinois for various crimes involving robbery and first-degree assaults and even questioning for a homicide in Cook County, Illinois.

Allegedly, Moore is also believed to have stolen a vehicle from a St. Clair County circuit judge’s home. Police said that the alleged stolen vehicle from the circuit judge’s home was used during the September 9 carjacking.

Moore has a warrant out for his arrest and has been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action with no bond allowed.
