ST. LOUIS – A weak storm system early Tuesday is trying to send some scattered showers our way Tuesday morning.

Rainfall totals will be very light, and this will not make a significant dent in our dry conditions. In fact, winds will pick up behind the spot rain. The breezy conditions will increase the fire danger for Tuesday. Quite warm, highs Tuesday around 80 F.

Clear overnight as winds ease. Out the door Wednesday, temperatures won’t be as chilly, in the mid to upper 50s. Another cold front comes through Wednesday. No rain; highs will be in the mid-70s Wednesday and Thursday.

There will be another shot at rain late Thursday night into Friday morning. It now looks like temperatures will cool down quite a bit behind this rain for the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be back in the 60s.
