ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A man was struck and killed while walking along Interstate 55 just after midnight Sunday morning in Tesson Ferry Township.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Frederick J. Seim, 46, of Columbia, Missouri, was struck by a vehicle going northbound on I-55 near Meramec Bottom Road.
Semir Hadzisalihovic was driving a 2005 Nissan Xterra when the crash occurred at 12:22 a.m.
According to MSHP, Hadzisalihovic was arrested for driving while intoxicated, resulting in the death of another. He has been released pending criminal charges.
