ST. LOUIS – A huge show of support for the family of a Ferguson Police Officer who has been in the ICU for exactly two months as of Wednesday. More than $164,000 has been donated to GoFundMe for 36-year-old Travis Brown.

Brown was knocked to the ground by a protester outside the Ferguson Police Department on Aug. 9.

He is in stable condition, as doctors continue to perform tests.

In the meantime, a local group of police wives are providing a different kind of support, having been with the Brown family since day one.

Prayers, meals, and clothing are just a few of the things the St. Louis Police Wives Association has provided for the family.

FOX 2’s Jasmine Huda spoke with the STLPWA about its ongoing support for the families of Brown and other law enforcement who have encountered crises.
