St. Louis Fire Department responding to fire in Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Fire Department is responding to a first alarm fire in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood Monday afternoon.

Crews are working in the 2700 block of Mills St. According to the fire department, the building is a two-story apartment building with multi-unit rows.

The building is vacant, the department added. Heavy flames and smoke are reported to be coming from the second floor.

No injuries have been reported.
