Here at home our forecast remains very quiet. A cold front moves through the region Sunday and temperatures will be cooler, in the low 80s.

Locally elevated fire danger will be possible this afternoon, especially north of I-70 for our grassy and agricultural areas due to gusty winds and low relative humidity.

For Monday, it will feel like we’d expect it to in fall. Highs in the low 70s with full sunshine.

Our overnight and early morning temperatures will also be chilly in the 40s and low 50s for much of the week. Afternoon high temperatures gradually warm through the week.

Tropical Storm Milton:

Milton is still a tropical storm but it’s expected to quickly intensify as it moves across the Gulf of Mexico. It will be at or near major hurricane strength when it reaches the west coast of the Florida Peninsula mid-week.
