CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. – A Missouri resident shot and killed a suspect during a burglary attempt overnight Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning after police received a call from a resident on North Highway 7 about a burglary that transpired.
During the call, the resident told communications officials that they shot one of the burglars and the other drove off northbound in an unknown vehicle.
Officials responded to the residence and provided assistance to the burglar before the suspect was later pronounced dead at the scene.
