Francis Howell Middle School teacher wins $500 for student impact

ST. LOUIS — Andrea Mannino, a teacher at Francis Howell Middle School, has been awarded $500 for her exceptional impact on students.

A parent from the community nominated Ms. Mannino, praising her dedication, saying Ms. Mannino is described as the “glue to the school,” going above and beyond for her students every day. She teaches Geography but also focuses on important life skills.

Outside of regular classes, she sponsors many clubs and activities, and supports others in her free time. With over 20 years of service, Mannino is recognized as an exemplary educator who has positively influenced numerous students’ lives.

This award acknowledges her hard work and commitment to education, highlighting her as a model of what makes a great teacher. Andrea was recognized on St. Louis 11 and receives $500.00 from Weber Chevrolet.
