ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A female pedestrian was fatally struck Sunday morning after she was hit by a vehicle in St. Louis County.
According to St. Louis County police, the woman was walking along Schuetz Road at Millstone Campus Drive near US 67 when the vehicle struck her a little before 9:30 a.m.
Police said after the crash, they located the woman, and she was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the woman or charges against the driver. The investigation is still ongoing. FOX 2 will update this story as information comes into the newsroom.
