ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Pedal the Cause is happening this weekend marking the 15th year of this inspiring ride raising critical money for cancer research.
Over 5,000 people will gather at the Family Arena in St. Charles for a weekend filled with bike riding and family fun.
Events run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The event kicks off with the ‘Pedal the Cause Kids Challenge’ which runs from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday it’s ‘Taste the Cause,’ featuring live music, inspiring speeches and more.
The event continues Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with distances ranging from 10 to 100 miles.
The weekend wraps up with a post ride celebration with more live music.
Money raised will go to Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
To date, Pedal the Cause has paid for 228 cancer research projects.
