WILDWOOD, Mo. — A Ballwin man faces multiple charges following a week-long incident in Wildwood. Cejay Young, 31, is charged with kidnapping, assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, robbery, and burglary. He is being held without bond.

Young reportedly began attacking the victim, threatening him with a handgun, and locking him in the bathroom. Over the next week, Young allegedly brought others to steal the victim’s belongings, including guns, and destroyed property. He assaulted the victim daily, forced him to take unknown pills, and prevented him from contacting police.

The situation ended on September 19 when police, investigating an unrelated crime, arrived at the residence. Young reportedly ran but was apprehended after a 3.5-hour chase.
