St. Clair County implements voter integrity hotline as election nears

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – Several officials in St. Clair County have joined forces to create a hotline designed to prevent any voting violations, according to a release.

The county’s clerk, Thomas Holbrook, state attorney James Gomric, and sheriff, Rick Watson, along with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, curated a system that allows citizens to report any violations within the voting process in the county.

Below are ways the public can submit a report:

Mail to St. Clair County Clerk’s Office, Attention: Election Department

Call the hotline at (618) 825-2366

All forms of reports will be documented or automatically sent to all departments involved in the system.

The announcement comes as the November general election is just eight weeks away from Tuesday.
