Two injured in overnight party bus shooting: Police

ST. LOUIS – Two 19-year-olds were hospitalized Sunday following an overnight shooting outside a south St. Louis gas station.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened before 12:45 a.m. in the parking lot outside the Quik Trip at Chouteau and Jefferson avenues, in the city’s Gate District.

Police found one victim on the ground outside a party bus and the second victim inside the vehicle.

Police said witnesses told officers the party bus was parked on the lot when a dark-colored SUV pulled onto the lot and people in the SUV began shooting at the group standing outside the party bus.

No other injuries were reported.
