ST. LOUIS – Shriner’s Hospital for Children is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend.
Hundreds of former Shirner’s patients were on hand as the nonprofit celebrated the milestone with a big carnival-styled birthday bash.
The event brought together current and former patients, along with caretakers that brought them through their recoveries.
Another surprise today was a 98-year-old former patient who is still active today.
