EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — A fire broke out at an apartment complex on Devon Court in Edwardsville on Friday morning. The fire began on the second floor and spread to the attic, displacing several residents. There were no reported injuries, and residents helped each other evacuate.
The Edwardsville Police and several nearby fire departments, responded. Firefighters are on site to prevent flareups, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause.
