Man shot after argument over money in St. Louis garage

ST. LOUIS – A man shot a 41-year-old man following an argument over money on Saturday evening in south St. Louis.

According to police, the 41-year-old victim was shot inside of a garage in the 4200 block of Schiller in the city’s Bevo Mill neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The victim told officers he was in the garage when the suspect, who was only known by a nickname, pulled out a gun and shot him following the argument.

The victim went to a friend’s house nearby, and police said he waited approximately an hour before calling 911 for help. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
