ST. LOUIS – Autumn is among us, and so are special events going on in the St. Louis region. As summer ends and the leaves start to fall off the trees, check out some of the special events different organizations are holding to celebrate the changing of seasons.
St. Louis Art Fair 2024
The 31st St. Louis Art will take place September 6-9. The free event will be held in Downtown Clayton on Brentwood Boulevard, Maryland Avenue, Bemiston Avenue, and Carondelet Avenue.

The Great Forest Park Balloon Race
The Great Forest Park Balloon Race will take place on September 20-21. The balloon race began in 1973 and features more than 50 of the nation’s best hot air balloon pilots.

Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival
The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival will take place from September 20-22 at Soulard Park between South 7th Street and Lafayette Avenue. The three-day event will highlight Hispanic culture through vibrant traditions, food, and art.

Zootoberfest+
The event is a 21-and-older fall night that will take place on Friday, September 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the St. Louis Zoo. The nighttime event will offer beer tastings from more than 15 breweries, German-themed food, a free souvenir tasting glass, admission to Stingrays at Carribbean Cove, and much more.

Zootoberfest
The family-friendly event will take place on September 28-29 and on Oct. 5-6 at the St. Louis Zoo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both weekends. The free daytime Oktoberfest event will feature food, live music, and fun activities for kids, including obstacle courses and arts and crafts.

Boo at the Zoo
The St. Louis Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo will take place every night, October 10-30, from 5-8:30 p.m. The Halloween family event will feature festive decorations, entertainers, food , and drinks.
Boo at the Zoo is not a trick-or-treating event and will be a non-scary Halloween event. Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. For more information and tickets, click here
Brew in the Lou
The 12th Annual ‘Brew in the Lou’ Festival will take place Saturday, October 12, from 1-5 p.m. at Francis Park. The event will serve as a one-stop tasting, offering unlimited beer and food tastings while supplies last from St. Louis favorites.

St. Louis Harvest Festival
The St. Louis Harvest Festival will take place on October 13, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., at Tower Grove Park. The event will celebrate the seasons changing and will feature items from St. Louis restaurants, breweries, and dozens of arts and crafts vendors.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will hold a walk that raises money and builds awareness about breast cancer. The walk will take place on Saturday, October 19, at 9 a.m. Registration for the walk begins at 7:30 a.m.
