OLYMPIAN VILLAGE, Mo. – A De Soto man lost his life in a motorcycle crash overnight.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the crash happened around midnight on southbound State Road CC, just outside Olympian Village.
The highway patrol said Darrick G. Stotler was riding a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 650 along Route CC toward Marathon Road when he lost control of the bike and was ejected.

Stotler was pronounced dead at the scene just after 12:50 a.m. Wednesday. He was 46.
The highway patrol’s report indicates Stotler was not wearing a helmet.
