ST. LOUIS – A woman is left dead Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in north St. Louis.
The accident happened on the intersection of Cass Avenue and Tucker Boulevard around 5:15 a.m. Tucker Boulevard is currently closed as accident reconstruction crews are on the scene.
An ambulance took the woman to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Drivers exiting Interstate-70 onto Tucker are being diverted onto Cass Avenue.
