KIRKWOOD, Mo. – The City of Kirkwood announced that a portion of Big Bend Road has been closed due to a gas leak.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes are closed to traffic along Big Bend Road between Interstate 44 and South Kirkwood Road, according to officials.
The city stated that Spire and other emergency crews are on the scene, but the repairs are expected to be extensive.
Drivers are strongly encouraged to find other routes until the scene is contained.
