ST. LOUIS – 6-year-old Hunter Capella loves dinosaurs, but one stands out above all others: Sue, which is currently at the Saint Louis Science Center.

Hunter and his family have done some traveling in recent years to see the T-Rex Sue at different facilities. He and his mother, Carole, took a visit to St. Louis to see it again.

“He became so obsessed with Sue that we went back a lot of times,” Carole said. “Every exhibit and every place we’ve been has been relatively similar, but we love seeing how all the different places set them up, and they’ve done a really beautiful job here in St. Louis.”

Hunter first learned of T-Rex’s when he was young, and his love for the dinosaurs has grown significantly since then. He has seen Sue’s exhibit around 60 times within the past three years, traveling around the country.

They’ve seen the dinosaur at their hometown’s science center in New Jersey, in Memphis, and in Michigan. Soon, they’ll be visiting Chicago to see the actual bones of Sue.

“Every time she’s anywhere near us, we’ve ended up seeing Sue again,” Carole said.
