ST. LOUIS – Bud Select has been a staple in the St. Louis region for nearly two decades, sporting the St. Louis Arch in the background of its beer.
Initially launched in 2005, Bud Select is a beer that has a total of 99 calories but has the same full lager taste as a Budweiser.
While many may think that Bud Select is sold exclusively in the St. Louis region, you’ll be surprised to find it during a trip to the bar in other cities.
According to an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson, Bud Select is available nationally, with its largest fanbases being in the states of Missouri, Texas, and Illinois.
Bud Select is part of Anheuser-Busch’s family of brands, which includes other beers like Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, and more.
Anheuser-Busch was founded in 1857 and has a total of 12 breweries throughout the United States, with its headquarters being stationed in St. Louis.
