On-the-run suspects accused of crashing into Missouri deputy

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. – Two suspects who allegedly crashed into a rural Missouri deputy Thursday evening are on the run.

Authorities are believed to be searching for one man and one woman after the crash, according to a Facebook post from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

In nearby Montgomery County, the suspects reportedly crashed their vehicle into a Montgomery County deputy on Thursday near State Road Z. The two suspect then ran out of the car after the crash.


Lawsuit aims to block sports betting on Missouri ballot

Investigators have not disclosed the extent of any injuries the stricken deputy may have suffered.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office shared surveillance photos of two wanted suspects at a gas station earlier on Thursday.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Missouri Girls Town nonprofit organization has been notified of the situation. Residents in Montgomery or Callaway counties are also urged to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity immediately.
