Teen identified in fatal south St. Louis County shooting

LEMAY, Mo. – The police have identified the teen victim of a fatal shooting. Investigators say that Amorion Fuller, 16, of St. Louis, did not die of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of Goetz Avenue. The victim was found at around 12:50 p.m. with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.

The location of the shooting was near the Hancock Place School District’s administration office and early childhood center. Witnesses tell FOX 2 that several teens were inside a home when a single gunshot was heard. One of the teens began yelling for someone to call for an ambulance.

The police have not yet determined whether the shooting was intentional or accidental, and no information about potential suspects has been released.
