ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – An investigation is underway after a teenager was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in south St. Louis County.
The shooting happened around 12:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Goetz Avenue.
Investigators say the victim, a teenage boy, was found with an apparent gunshot injury and pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are investigating the victim’s death as a suspicious death.
Police have not disclosed any additional information on the victim or potential suspects at this time. This is a developing story. FOX 2 will update as more information becomes available.
