ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The Noot Baar, a pop-up bar in celebration of St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar, is now open at Helen Fitzgerald’s Irish Grill & Pub through the weekend.

The Noot Baar opened Thursday evening with a special guest appearance from the Cardinals’ outfielder. He served beverages while speaking to several fans on Thursday.

The Noot Baar consists of custom exterior signage, customized personal touches and special giveaways on behalf of Budweiser. The pop-up bar was timed to coincide with MLB Players Weekend, when the league highlights player stories.

Lars and Budweiser worked closely to incorporate his personality into the design and programming of the Noot Baar concept.

“I’ve said it before, but St. Louis is like baseball heaven to me, I feel so fortunate playing for this town and for these fans,” said Lars Nootbaar via a news release. “Budweiser is making it possible for me to show my gratitude to this incredible fan base and city with an experience like this and for that I am so grateful. I mean who wouldn’t want a bar named after them.”

“Lars’ journey to the league is one of determination and grit – two qualities that embody the Budweiser brand and we can’t wait to showcase Lars and his accomplishments at The Noot Baar,” said Kristina Punwani, Head of Marketing, Budweiser USA.

The Noot Baar is open through Sunday at Helen Fitzgerald’s (3650 S. Lindbergh Blvd.) for guests ages 21 and older. There are no extra entry fees. For more information, click here.
