ST. LOUIS – Rain and storms will be possible through mid-to-late morning, mainly along and north of I-70. This first round of storms will bring the potential for some pockets of heavy rain but a low-severe weather threat otherwise.

Thursday will be hot and humid, with highs in the low 90s. A few storm clouds could develop in the afternoon and early evening, but activity looks to ramp up later in the evening and last through about midnight.

With afternoon and evening storms, there is a threat of damaging winds up to 70 mph, large hail, and a tornado or two.

Sunshine returns Friday with highs in the low 90s.

The weekend is looking pretty good. Warm, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 80s each day and humidity about average for this time of year. Dry weather continues into the next work week.
