St. Louis County Library to provide free after-school lunches to kids

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Four St. Louis County Library branches will be offering free after-school lunches to students during the upcoming 2024–25 school year.

The initiative, in partnership with Operation Food Search, will begin on August 19 and will provide healthy meals and activities for children and teens Monday through Friday during the upcoming school year.

The meals must be eaten on-site at participating branches and will be available for free to students ages 5–18.

The participating branches are listed below:

Lewis & Clark Branch, 9909 Lewis-Clark Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo. 63136. Monday-Friday, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Natural Bridge Branch, 7606 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63121. Monday-Friday, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Prairie Commons Branch, 915 Ultz Lane, Hazelwood, Mo. 63042. Monday-Friday, 3-4:30 p.m.

Weber Road Branch, 4444 Weber Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63123. Monday-Friday, 2:45-4:00 p.m.
