ST. LOUIS – Showers and storms are moving back into the St. Louis region Monday morning.

It’s the start of a more active pattern that will keep rain chances around throughout the week. Back-to-school pictures this week may have to be done inside.

Showers and storms Monday will be around through early afternoon. Temperatures will stay cooler thanks to the cloudy, wet weather. Highs in the upper 70s.

Clouds with a few spot showers overnight, wake up temperatures Tuesday in the 60s.

Another more widespread chance for rain and storms is expected late morning Tuesday into the afternoon. Highs near 80.

More rounds of rain on Wednesday will again keep temperatures cooler. However, signs do point to a warm-up for the region on Thursday and Friday.
