ST. LOUIS – Clouds held on tight Wednesday and we only made it to 77 for a high, a 19-degree change from Tuesday.

Skies are clearing Thursday morning, and we could see some spots of fog early in the day.

We will be a bit warmer Thursday, ahead of another cold front. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, highs in the mid-80s. That front moves through the area Thursday evening and reinforces the cooler air.

Once again, this front will come through without any rainfall. Temperatures and humidity will be much lower on Friday and the weekend. Highs Friday and Saturday will be in the 70s for much of the region.

A more active pattern is shaping up, starting early next week. Rain and storm chances return on Sunday evening, with rounds of storms expected throughout the week.
