CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. – An 81-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a fatal crash in Crawford County on Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 3 p.m. going westbound on Interstate 44 in a 2023 Hyundai Tucson.
MSHP reports the woman had travelled off the right side of the interstate, then struck a sign and concrete culvert.
The woman was transported to Missouri Baptist Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday.
