ST. LOUIS – AI could be greeting you the next time you enter the drive-thru for a taco.
Taco Bell will be implementing Voice AI in hundreds of U.S. drive-thru locations by the end of 2024, Yum! Brands, the restaurant’s parent company, announced Wednesday.
The technology is currently being used in more than 100 Taco Bell drive-thru locations across 13 states. The restaurant aims to implement Voice AI at locations globally in the future.
The brand says the move will bring ease to the operations of team members while also enhancing the overall order experience for consumers.
