ST. LOUIS – Today, we’re happy to announce that we’ve partnered once again with Weber Chevrolet to give back to our local teachers. And this month, we have with us Carey Siegel, a second-grade teacher from Windsor Elementary in Imperial, Missouri! Congratulations, Carey!

Carey was nominated by a parent in the community, who told us:

Mrs. Siegel is one of those teachers you will never forget! She is so caring, motivational, communicative, and passionate about what she does! As a 2nd grade teacher, she is helping form the kids minds at an early age and setting them up for the many years to come of school by making learning fun and not a chore. She makes kids enjoy going to school and not dread it! She really has her kids focus on their Reading Counts points, my son had so much improvement in his Reading/ELA in one year, I was in awe of what she could do. My son had her 6 years ago and still talks about her and will even go to her when he needs something or has a question. She is always there for all her current and former students! She even goes to their extracurricular activities when given the invitation. Thank you, Carey, for always going above and beyond for your students and their families! You have set the bar high at an early age in many kiddos minds!

Carey was recognized on St. Louis 11 and received $500 from Weber Chevrolet.
