ST. LOUIS – Heat and storms will start the week then the heat will prevail. We’ve had a weekend of downpours around the region and a few more could be around Monday and Tuesday. But the more widespread weather story this week is the heat.
Heat warnings are in place through Thursday for the combination of high heat and high humidity. We are talking about top temps near 100 degrees on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The heat will take a little break by next weekend.
