ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Hazelwood man and a Ferguson man have been charged with several thefts and break-ins at an apartment complex in Maryland Heights this past spring.

According to the Maryland Heights Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crimes took place at the Woodhollow Apartments just off Dorsett Road, on April 18, April 22, April 28, and May 22.

Police said Ogwanbi A. Wilson (age not provided) stole a 2008 Toyota Solara from a woman, then later broke into that woman’s apartment and stole electronics and medications. Wilson went back to the complex less than a week later, broke into a different apartment, and stole a gaming system and guitar.

Wilson went back to Woodhollow a month later with a partner, Demarian D. Rush (age not provided), and broke into another apartment.

Wilson was arrested on July 15.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Wilson with one count of stealing a motor vehicle, three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing – $750 or more, and one count of first-degree property damage. Wilson waived his bond review scheduled for Tuesday. He’ll next appear in court for a preliminary hearing on August 8.

Wilson’s cohort, Rush, was arrested in late June and charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree property damage. Rush remains jailed on a $100,000 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court on July 25.
