CULVER CITY, Calif. – One of the newest U.S. Forever stamps honors the career of the late, but beloved “Jeopardy!” game show host Alex Trebek.

The United States Postal Service officially released its new Trebek-themed stamps on Monday, the same day as his birthday.

Trebek died in 2020 after a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 80. He fronted Jeopardy! for 37 seasons, often remembered for sharp wit, calm demeanor and genuine connections with contestants.

The new stamp includes text written similarly to clues he would read for contestants. It says, “This naturalized U.S. citizen hosted the quiz show ‘Jeopardy!’ for 37 seasons.” It also includes the answer “Who is Alex Trebek?” in small, upside-down text below the clue.

The United States Postal Service celebrated its new Trebek-themed stamps in a ceremony Monday at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.

Check your local U.S. post office for Trebek stamps. You can purchase one Forever stamp for a standard rate of 73 cents or a sheet of 20 for $14.60.
